My scalar
Scalars were the first specie I was breeding very much, 40 years ago and I was able to sell the most of them. This gain experience was a huge step forward for my interest for this beautiful hobby and makes the hobby like a lifestyle of my lifetime.
My first Discus
My first experience with the discus fish I got 40 year ago. I was lucky to buy four brown 5 cm discus of the original strain of Alf Julius Næss the famous Norwegian breeder and owner of former Tropica in Trondheim. This was quality discus and grows from 5 – 13 cm in less than 1 year.
Photo in the aquarium
I begin to shoot films/photos in aquarium in 1969/70. But I want Dias pictures of my fishes so I was buying a Miranda camera in 1970 and with this I was shooting many thousands pictures in aquarium and else in the nature. This camera I have still, but it malfunctions about 1994/95 when I was trying to shoot some pictures of my discus breeding: Because of that I unfortunately get only some pictures of my discus breeding .
